About me:
While in law school at Queen's University, I developed my passion for criminal law while assisting federal prison inmates with parole hearings, and also volunteering for Queen's Legal Aid.
After graduating, I articled for Alan D. Gold, a well-respected criminal lawyer in Toronto. Working long hours under his mentorship gave me the skills I needed to assert my clients' rights.
I then worked for a time in Kingston, Ontario, for a small criminal defence firm. While there, I ran trials and developed my courtroom skills. Since 2014 I've been practising on my own in Kitchener.

I have been representing clients accused of criminal or quasi-criminal offences for over 10 years. Based in Kitchener, I represent clients facing charges throughout Southwestern Ontario.
Criminal law is all I do. It is all I have ever done. I am pleased to also offer my services in French and Spanish.

I make a point of always being accessible to my clients, and my fees are straightforward and reasonable. Being charged with an offence can be very stressful and the system can seem confusing. If you choose to retain me, I will help you navigate the system and assert your rights.
